We will meet you at Delhi Airport and transfer you to your Hotel. Because fellow group members may be arriving on different flights, we will wait to meet the fellow group members on the next day at the breakfast table and the staff at the dinner table.
Today we rise very early to board our flight to Leh. On arrival in Leh we will be transferred to our Hotel and rest of the day is free for acclimatization.
DAY 03:: AT LEH.(3600M/11880FT)
Post breakfast we’ll hold a briefing to cover safety precautions,touring style, road conditions, and check of personal equipment,with time to select our bikes and become familiar with starting procedures, control layouts and bike handling.Trial day visiting the Shey Palace, Hemis and Thiksey Monasteries.
The day you’ve been waiting for. Conditions permitting, we’ll ride the 26.5 km to the highest motorable pass on Earth, Khardung-La. After the last 14 km of rocky road, we will join an elite handful of motorcyclists that have stood on the top of world! The views over the mountains of Tibet to the north, the Karakoram Range, K-2, and back down to the Indus Valley and Zanskar are simply indescribable!
Today after a late breakfast we will visit the ancient, remote Diskit Monastery and a ride through the broad valley to the hot springs of Panamik, followed by an afternoon riding the Bactrian Double Hump Camels through the sand dunes of Hunder.
Post breakfast today we will ride steep up to the recently-opened road leading up to Wari La and further descend into Sakti Valley.
Post breakfast we ride up again steep to Chang La the third highest motorable road in the world.The Changla Pass is the main gateway for the Changthang Plateau, The home for the nomadic tribes collectively known as the Changpa or Chang-pa, follows a rough mountain road to the luminous blue-green magic of PangongTsoLake. We'll spend the night in the tents with a sweeping view across the lake to the Tibetan shore.
Today we will ride near by the lakes and taking rest enjoying the beauty of the Himalayas and getting ready for our rough rides for few more days.
Today we ride back on the same route crossing Chang La till we hit the diversion at Kharu towards Tsomoriri continuing further to Chumathang Hot Springs
Post breakfast we ride today to our second Lake,getting our Inner Line Permits checked at Mahe Check Post and further riding up to Namshang La,(Scenically this pass even beats the highest passes Khardung La and Tanglang La)and descending down to Kiagartso/ThatsangKaru a small salt lake at the height of 4650 M. We ride through the plain roads and the split wide valley in between stopping at the nomad’s tents to have a cup of butter tea seeing the herds of Pashmina Goats to Tsomoriri. We will explore the Nomads of the Korzok Village in the evening.
Today we wake up in front of the Tsomori Lake shimmering turquoise after breakfast we ride on bone-dry trails through desert valleys - it's time to eat some dust! Our ride takes us past sulfur springs and over the windswept, Pologonka Pass. We will reach TsokarSalt Lake, a nature reserve and home of the shy wild mongoose and rare birds.
Post breakfast an early start up more hairpin curves out of Pang brings us to the Tibetan Plateau and what is called the More Plains, 44 km of wide valley filled with nomads and yaks, flat as a table, with massive glacial peaks either side. We take a diversion inside the Kharnak valley which is a not a place which all tourist visits by Motorcycle or by Jeep, Today’s destination is Spangchenour last night in tents-sleeping in a "thousand-star hotel" at 4,500 meters - an unforgettable experience.
Today is our last day of riding in the mighty Himalayas. Post breakfast we will ride up to the world's second-highest road pass, the Tanglang La. The leisurely ascent is a spectacular motorcycle ride through a rugged gorge, descending nearly 2,000 meters to the Indus River
DAY14:AT LEH.(3600M/11880FT)
Day at Leisure to explore the local market.
Early morning transfer to the Airport to board the flight to Delhi. Rafting on the Ganges.Evening transfer to Haridwar railway station to board the super-fast train to Delhi.
DAY 16:
Transfer to the Airport to board the flight back home.
